To achieve cell culture research and bioprocessing productivity objectives, Thermo Scientific HyClone media, reagents and supplements deliver peak performance for a variety of cell culture applications. With a broad portfolio of standard cell culture media and reagents system tested with our industry-leading sera products, researchers can be assured the materials they use to conduct vital cell-based studies will provided consistent, quality results. When research moves into production, HyClone® serum-free media and process supplements provide high-performance results while eliminating the need to use serum. This product line includes chemically-defined, animal-derived component free (ADCF) formulations that offer a regulatory-friendly profile while meeting or exceeding traditional serum-containing formulations.
In addition to this line of products, we collaborate with customers in media optimization through the Rapid Response Production facility. Also known as RRP, this facility manufactures custom liquid and powder products within seven days of request. The RRP facility uniquely combines custom product supply with our clients’ process development initiatives enabling productivity objectives to be met quickly and efficiently. When the time comes for large-scale custom media and supplement manufacturing, our cGMP, ISO certified manufacturing facilities offer both traditional production suites, as well as those dedicated to ADCF formulations only.
